Error Code 30033-7 Description:

This Error Code 30033-7 may cause due to interrupted update issues. The office update may not be working on your computer.You may see this Error 30033-7 when you try repair it and it may also ask you to check your internet connection & try again.


Solution :

Please follow the steps mentioned below to fix the issue:

  • Try to close all the open programs (office) and reopen the office program to see if it is resolved.
  • In case if the issue is not resolved
  • Remove the temporary files from your computer using the Disk Cleanup utility.
  • Check windows updates and install if there are any pending updates.
  • Then continue to open the office program and see if the update issue is resolved.


Disk Cleanup

  • The Disk Cleanup tool helps you free up space on your hard disk by searching your disk for files that you can safely delete.
  • Use Disk Cleanup to perform any of the following tasks to free up space on your hard disk.
  • Remove temporary Internet files.
  • Remove downloaded program files. For example, ActiveX controls and Java applets that are downloaded from the Internet.
  • Empty the Recycle Bin.
  • Remove Windows temporary files.
  • Remove optional Windows components that you are not using.
  • Remove installed programs that you no longer use.

Temporary Files:

  • A temporary file or temp file is a file created to hold information temporarily while a file is being created.
  • After the program has been closed, the temporary file should be deleted.
  • Temporary files are used to help recover lost data if the program or computer is abnormally halted.
  • A number of files may appear on the hard drive in various directories beginning with a tilde character (~) and ending with a .TMP extension.
  • These may be temporary files created by Windows that remain on the hard drive due to an irregular exit from a Windows session.
